We stayed at Lagoon Lodge over the Knysna Marathon weekend (also the start of the Oyster festival) and had a lovely experience. The location is perfectly located - just far enough from the hustle and bustle of town to be peaceful and relaxing, but still close enough to easily get to the local restaurants etc. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Needless to say, we will be back!

Our room had a nice view of the lagoon and the garden , we had our mini kitchen, we had electric blanket, we didn't get cold, room was clean, we had a feast of a buffet breakfast n the hospitality from the staff was marvelous, ooh an our host MR Kruger, knows how to treat his guest so well we felt at home, we definitely bringing our family here very soon.

The lodge is very neat and comfortable. The weather was cold, but we didn't feel it because there was a fireplace which made the rooms nicely warm. The electric blankets kept us warm at night. The staff member was very friendly and explained everything about the facility. There is a Wifi connection and TV which kept us entertained. The rooms were very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. How can I forget the beautiful view,I wish it was summer. In the morning, we had a scrumptious breakfast, which sustained us the whole day. Good value for money. Thank you!

From management to staff....very friendly ,welcoming and helpful! Brilliant service! Thanks once again for having us. We will be regulars at your accommodation.... Lovely breakfast.....starting with fruit and yoghurt.

Useful to have a little hotplate in the room. Proximity to the restaurant Muse is a real plus. We were there for the Knysna marathon and being able to walk back from the finish was a real plus.

Firstly, Appel, the owner is amazing and made us feel so welcome. We loved the ease of location just off the N2 and thought it would be noisy at night, but it was peaceful. (a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Knysna center, but within walking distance or a short drive to the center) The lodge overlooks the lagoon and is a lovely sight to wake up to in the mornings. I was surprised and happy that breakfast was included and exceeded my expectations. Was an enjoyable 2-night stay and is really good value for money. I will recommend to clients and friends wishing for a decently priced self-catering lodge in Knysna. Thank you Appel and Lagoon Lodge.

The view eating breakfast was absolutely beautiful, we could see the lagoon and if you sit at the window Knysna Heads as well.

We had a view over the lagoon. Beautifull. The breakfast is something I cannot explain. Made with a lot of love. John (Appel) and Frikkie makes people feel so welcome and at home. I will not book anywhere else if there is available rooms. Only time I will book elsewhere is when there is not rooms available.
